K! Pizzacone

About a month ago I walked by a place on 32nd and 5th ave in NY called K!Pizzacones.  At the time I could not help but wonder should pizza be served in a cone?  As a New Yorker I live for great pizza, and when I want it done right I know exactly where to go *cough* Patsys. So you have to wonder about my hesitation to even walk into this place to see what this pizza cone was all about. I remember just walking by at the time and just shrugging my shoulders in some what disappointment.....like who would eat pizza that comes in a cone? Well since I was in the neighborhood today I figured why not give this cone a try!
Before your mind starts wandering this is not like an Ice cream cone, but more like pizza crust shaped like a cone so all the yummy stuff stays inside. There are many options at K!pizzacone just like your normal pizzeria, when I say normal pizzeria I refer only to New York. First you chose your crust, plain or whole wheat. Then you move onto toppings, you may opt for their ready made combination's or you can create your own.  The cones run from 4.90 to 5.90 depending on the toppings. I chose the 4 cheese which was a ready made option. My friend Helena opted for the vegetarian cone. The cone was a mix of a crunchy yet soft texture. The cheese was nicely melted and it seemed like it was all layered inside the cone so each bite was just as good as the first. Unlike a traditional pizza slice where the first bite is the best bite.

All in all I liked my pizzacone, I must say that I prefer traditional slices better, not to mention the price was a little steep as well. What do you think of this pizzacone idea? Would you try it?
