Last Sunday I had a fun afternoon with my girlfriends Inna and Natasha. Our festivities consisted of shopping, watching Shrek in 3D and having Shake Shack for dinner. I am a fan of In and Out burgers and have been told the Shake Shack burgers are the east coast version. Although I have lived in NY all my life the reason I have never tried one of these burgers is simply because the line is always to long. I know I am such a typical New Yorker, I want to get things right away. There is a process for getting one of these burgers. After you wait on line for 40 minutes(salivating by that time) you get a nifty little pager like they give you at cheesecake factory. Then you have to wait for your buzz to get your chow on. I have to say I did enjoy it, not greasy or heavy considering I am not much of a meat eater these days. I think I would have to do a side by side taste test to see if I prefer In and Out or Shake Shack.
The only time I ever had Shake Shack was at Citifield and I wasn't impressed. I felt like I make better burgers at home on my grill. I would love to try in & out as well so I could compare.
