Everyone has their go to products that they use from day to day and I thought I would share one of my favorite. My favorite product that I must have in bag or in my pocket at all times is Aquaphor. If I do not have this ointment within reach 24/7 I will go to a store and buy a new ones which also explains why I have so many tubes lying around my apartment. It makes me crazy to have dry lips and for me this product works far better than any other lip product out on the market. I will also add that my best friend Helena (www.brooklynblonde.com) also shares in the same addiction, no wonder we are friends.
I never really bought into the aromatherapy hype and always thought it was a bunch of crap, can a scent really relax you? The answer is yes, and it is called Sleep Lavander Chamomile made by Bath & Bodyworks. Bath & Bodyworks actually has a really big aromatherapy collection however I only care for their Sleep line. There are a couple of different products and scents you can dabble in. There is a lotion,soap,body wash, body spray and pillow mist. Nothing relaxes me more after a long day of work or after a vigorous workout. I use the body wash, the lotion and then spray the pillow mist on my pillows and hop into bed totally relaxed and calm. I will admit to actually sleeping better on the nights I have used these products. So if you have a hard time sleeping or want to find something to sooth you at night then I highly recommend this product. I swear by it!
At last summer is here and I thought I would share some of my favorite nail color picks for the season. I know greens are a huge hit this summer so I could not resist picking up a few. From left to right Essie Mint Candy Apple,Pretty Edgy, Turquoise & Caicos (had a hard time finding this one)Prevail nail polish in Coney Island Sweetheart (sold at Duane Reade Stores only) and I had to include Revlon Tropical Temptation. I wish I could say there was one that stood out the most but to be quite honest I have received many compliments on all them. I guess if I had to choose two of my favorite it would be the Essie Turquoise & Caicos and Prevail in Coney Island Temptation.
I know to some people this may seem a little juvenile but for a long time I have been wanting a Blackberry. I know it is just a phone but there have been so many times that I have missed an email or an event by not being able to check my email in time. I am always out and about in the city meeting new people and trying to network and had to always shamelessly whip out my Voyager phone that resembled a sidekick. Not to mention in NY you either have an Iphone or a Blackberry, to me anything else in between just doesn't cut it. So at last Verizon came out with the Blackberry Bold and I must say I LOVE IT!!!!! I don't know how I was living without it (I guess I managed.) I fee like I am kind of addicted to it and now know why they call it a crackberry.
